BOOK OF RECOMMENDATIONS

The Performance Warehouse Association, as part of its continuing effort to assist and improve the performance parts industry, has prepared a Book of Recommendations. The purpose of the Book is to provide the members of PWA with information, which may be useful to them in the success of their business. The articles are intended to be as comprehensive as possible in a condensed format.

In preparing and presenting these materials, it is not PWA's intent to dictate policies or procedures but rather to propose policies and procedures, which might prove more workable and efficient than those currently employed by our members. It is our hope that through this effort we will achieve a degree of uniformity throughout our industry, where it is proper to do so, in areas of administrative operation. An example is our recommendation for a uniform price sheet (not pricing) to ease the administrative burdens at all levels of distribution.

We have taken great care in the selection and treatment of topics, which are contained in the Book and intend to supplement the Book periodically with additional subjects of interest and importance to the industry. We solicit the views and comments of our members on this effort.
